“My Dog Has Fleas” is a song that I wrote back in 2001 so I could remember what the four open strings of the uke (G-C-E-A) sounded like. The tune is simple and it's a good song to learn for any beginning (or experienced) uke player. Below I have written out just a basic strum with 4 beats in each measure, which should be fine for beginners.

On the recording I played it in the clawhammer style but it can be strummed or fingerpicked any way you choose.
