The East Meets West African talking drum is in the tradition of drums used to communicate messages across miles in olden days. Squeezing the tuning ropes alters the pitch and causes the drum to "talk." Diameter is approximately 4" and height varies from 15"-17" due to the handcrafted production of the drums.
