AudioWarrior Bryan 'Brain' Mantia Drum Rack Builder Reason ReFill
Retail: $99.00
Our Price: $49.99
The Brain Reason ReFill drum track builder was programmed for Reason 3.0 by Greg Giametta. Bryan "Brain" Mantia toured extensively with Primus and played on The Brown Album, Rhinoplasty, and Anti-Pop. Axl Rose invited Mantia to join his overhauled version of Guns N' Roses (at the insistence of Buckethead, who was brought onboard as Slash's replacement). Mantia appeared with the group throughout sporadic live dates in 2001 (the Rock in Rio II Festival) and 2002 (the MTV Video Music Awards), while continuing to lay down tracks for the new Guns N' Roses studio release, Chinese Democracy.

Brain's Rex2 stereo drum files are quite possibly the most accurate, flexible, best-sounding drums you may ever experience. You'll be able to create complete professional sounding drum tracks for songs and have access to 1 GB of intros, grooves, fills, and outros of many styles, variations, and BPMs from 50-160. Any 2 or 4 bar Rex2 of any BPM can be interchanged with any other creating a virtual infinite number of possibilities. Each Rex2 imported by Dr.Rex has an exact corresponding MIDI file of the same name in the same name BPM folder. When using Reason in ReWire mode with another sequencer, there is a 2 folder team that makes this work: a BrainRex2 folder and a corresponding Brain MIDI folder.

The work flow is so easy. Just audition the beat in Dr.Rex, and if you want to keep it you can click "To Track" to create the MIDI file, or you can import the MIDI file into a sequencer track from the ReFill. Additionally, the MIDI files are provided outside of the ReFill if you decide you'd like to use Reason in ReWire mode in your preferred sequencer. Then the work flow would be just about the same except that you would import the Brain MIDI into your preferred sequencer's track and set that track's output to Reason, which would have the Brain Rex file loaded into Dr.Rex.
