The MIDI Solutions Velocity Converter applies selected velocity curves to incoming MIDI velocity data. Curves may be selected from 40 presets or a user defined curve. Each MIDI channel may be assigned a unique curve, allowing a MIDI controller's velocity sensitivity to be matched to individual sound modules in a MIDI setup. Velocities may also be assigned based on a selected incoming Control Change value. All settings are retained even after power is removed from the unit. <BR><BR>The Velocity Converter is programmed by sending it MIDI System Exclusive messages. Once programmed, its settings are retained even after power is removed.<BR><BR>The Velocity Converter is MIDI-powered and requires no batteries or power supply to operate. A MIDI indicator LED lights up when the product is powered and flashes when MIDI data passes through it.
