The Shadow 2 Band EQ Preamp System For Solid Wood Guitars is made for high quality, all solid wood guitars. It eliminates the need to cut a hole in the guitar for the preamp. It's very simple to install and the mounting screws are not fixed into the wood. Instead, they are fixed into the preamp case. Very low power consumption gives you 600 hours of playing time before you have to change the battery. EQ Shape switch in off" (out) position gives a flat response to the tone controls in the center. Pushed in" (on), it boosts the bass and treble and cuts the mid frequencies. Phase invert switch is an easy solution for minimizing feedback. Push the potentiometer knob and it pops out for easy adjustments. The battery holder is integrated at the preamp case inside of the guitar, easily reachable through the sound hole.
