The Genz Benz Tribal Series TS-212 guitar speaker cabinet has a sound that's throaty and warm with just enough "toothy" bite. The speakers are highly touch sensitive and the punch and projection can be felt across the room. All this is wrapped in a cabinet of unique construction and classic "boutique" styling inspired by Southwestern roots. In order to enhance the liveliness and portability of these cabinets they are constructed from 1/2" and 3/4" birch plywood panels.It's loaded with Eminence Private Jack™ loudspeakers, selected for their full spectrum response and "air" when loaded in the Tribal Series cabinets. The loudspeakers are rear mounted which provides a more focused response and slightly different "color" over front loaded speakers.A 2 x 12" compact, light-weight enclosure capable of powerful output. The dual Private Jack™ loudspeakers couple to produce warm, harmonic midrange textures with a powerful round bottom-end without becoming over-bearing. Removing the cabinets back panel allows front and rear speaker waves to envelop the performer and audience. This model is wired for either 4 ohm or 16 ohm operation.The cabinets feature removable backs for an added "open back" feel if desired.
