The Basson B410 Guitar Cabinet features the same air sealed, road warrior construction as the B412's but introduces another personality to Basson's unique tone. 10" Eminence speakers produce a slightly more mellow attack and bass response not typical of 4x10" cabinets.The enclosure's joints and speakers are silicone sealed to obtain consistent air volume. This creates an air spring that the speakers respond to with less distortion at high volume levels. Other cabs "Woofing" is caused by distorted low end, which is inevitable for unsealed or open-back cabinets (the speaker travels too far when driven). Consequently, clear mids and clean highs cannot be produced while the speaker is struggling. Basson Sound has solved that problem. 5/8-inch MDF is used for subtle resonant qualities that minimize sound coloration. An excellent supplement to the voice of a blues, jazz, or country guitarist.
