The short scale reduces string tension, which provides easy string bending and augments the low-frequency response. The rock maple neck delivers tonal precision and a bright bite. The compact feel of the neck, recessed bolt-on neck joint, and diagonal body radius produce exceptional balance and comfort. The maple body is fitted with Godin-designed pickups controlled by a 5-way switch and volume and tone knobs.
