Made by Gretsch exclusively for us, this Catalina Club snare drum is packed with cool features. The maple/basswood shell has the warmth and full-bodied sound of maple while the basswood adds a lively attack. The 6-1/2" depth gives it power and projection, while the 30-degree bearing edge creates a full, warm, rounded tone. Tune it tight for a penetrating attack; loosen the tension for a rich, midrange tone with plenty of warmth. A vintage Nitron wrap looks great and wears well. Black triple-flanged hoops and black lugs give it a unique look.
