The ESP designers threw out the standard design of a bass guitar and created a completely original body full of curves, beveled edges, and points in places you don't normally see on any guitar, let alone a bass. It almost looks like it was inspired by the shape of the old Route 66 signs with a twist of the weaponry from a classic Dungeons & Dragons game book thrown in for good measure. This short scale bolt-on model is the basic model, with an ESP SB-4 pickup and an ESP ATB-1 active tone boost control knob. It is made of basswood with a thin "U" maple neck contour, a rosewood fingerboard, and has chrome hardware, including the ESP DB-4 bridge.
