Deluxe features of the Boston 5 banjo include adjustable mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, mother-of-pearl dot inlays, and satin finish. The drum assembly has a 3/16" thick steel rim that rings like a tone-ring. The 24-piece flange and steel rim give you a very enjoyable tone. High quality sealed guitar-style tuners have an accurate 6:1 gear ratio. 24-piece flange design allows you to convert this left-handed banjo to open-back by removing the flange pieces and resonator.
