Dear friends,

Dad passed away early this morning.

I made this little poem for him recently:

Mother's Garden

Please keep him in your hearts and your prayers, and wish him safe journey.

Peace,
Tony

Hey Tony,

So sorry to hear about your dad. I know from our talk recently that he had been in bad health and I know he's in a better place now.

My deepest condolences Tony.
It's never easy losing someone close to you.

What a lovely poem "Mother's Garden" was.
Very touching.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and family,

Tor

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and prayers.

He was waked Friday night, and a memorial service was held Saturday morning.

We remembered him with friends and family in pictures, songs, and stories until late Saturday afternoon, when the last of us went home exhausted, but knowing we had sent him off with a powerful and tremendous show of love.

In the Spring we will probably return to Normandy, where first he met my mother, to the mouth of the Sélune river, in the bay of the Mont-Saint-Michel, where we spread her ashes six years ago, and spread his ashes to be scattered by the tide and mingle with hers.

Peace,
