Greetings All, After last month's chidding from TH (you know the guy who somehow got a cat to fit in a fiddle) regarding my procrastinating prowess and recognizing I would never attain the apex of procrastinating proficiency as he I decided to try my hand at the other end of the spectrum and be efficient and timely. Well much to my chagrin it seems my good friend had the same thought. For me that's either comforting, as in great minds think alike, or awfully frightening. Anyway, here's where you'll find me in July wrecking havoc with this great music: ____________________ July 11 from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM with Linda Hickman and George Fairchild Sláinte Irish Pub 665 Northhampton St. Easton, PA July 12 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM - with Sonas Rockaway Fireman's Fair Fireman's Field on Beach Street Rockaway, NJ http://www.rockawayborough.com/festival2.htm July 13 at 9:15 and 11:15 AM - with Sonas Morristown Farmer's Market Dumont Street Parking Lot #10 (behind the Morristown Diner/ Post Office) Morristown, NJ http://www.morristown-nj.org/popup.html July 25 at 7:00 PM Rock the World Cafe 43 Main Street Clinton, NJ July 30 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM – with Tom Dunne and John Dillon Jersey City Library Five Corners Branch 678 Newark Avenue Jersey City, NJ, 07306 201) 547-4543 http://www.jclibrary.org/libinfo/5corners.php Tom, John, and I will be playing tunes as a part of Bob Leach's story telling program. Bob manages the Jersey City Historical Project and has a wealth of stories, as told to him by his Uncle Frank, about the Irish in the early days of Jersey City, NJ. ____________________ A full schedule can be found at my website, http://www.EdSaultz.com by clicking on the "Calendar" link along the top of the page. Don't forget to visit http://my.calendars.net/catandfiddle for a complete listing of what my dear friend, and brilliant fiddler (he's not bad in the libation consumption department either) Tony Horswill of Cat and Fiddle Sessions has happening. I hope to see you along the path to raise a jar, share some tunes, and generally celebrate the fact that we are here. All the best! Peace, Ed
____________________ Peace, a brilliant aspiration!!! I know, let's try that live and let live philosophy again! I'm just sayin'. Traditional and Contemporary Irish Music http://www.EdSaultz.com http://ezfolk.com/audio/bands/3205/ |
