One of the things I really enjoy is seeing who's playing what! I love going through artist's sites and seeing what you'all look like, it's fun to put faces to names. My wife and I spent this evening over at Cmac's (another member here) house. My wife is a photographer, and her mission was photographing Cmac's 3 daughters. Of course, while that was going on, Collin and I got to jamming, and Jan snapped this pic. Any one else got any good jamming photos?

Thanks Collin for a great evening, good food, and good fun!...oh yeah, and for drinking the wine so I have a good bottle to make a bottle neck slide out of!

I just checked out all the pictures, what a great set of pictures. The fun you'all had must have been amazing! It's very heart warming to see young people like Sarah and Christopher playing. Also some good pictures of ezFolk members! Thanks for the link!:):)...there's got to be a story behind this Jimi Hendrix move by Kurt...

This is by far my favorite picture, he looks so focused!:)

Hi Jackie! From the photos, I'm guessing that Christopher and Sarah belong to you:) If so, I applaud you for bringing them up with music, and spending time with them. Lots better than X-box and MTV. We need more Moms like you!

Sarah has the most amazing voice. She sang "Over the Rainbow" and gave me goosebumps. She definitely got the awesome vocal chords from her mom who has some great recordings here on ezfolk.

The funky picture of me blowing on my uke was a lucky shot for Chris. I was demonstrating a Smeck move I saw on a video and she just happened to snap the shot just as I was blowing over the sound hole... It made me look like I know what I am doing, even though I really don't. :D

I spent the July 4th weekend at a family reunion, and flew my daughter in from DC. Anyone (Cmac and Tim3finger) who knows my story, can appreciate this picture. Dispite our "guitar faces" my daughter and I got many good hours of time to play guitar together. Unlike her dad, my baby girl is a natural:) ....she can play beautiful, and I was in heaven:)

Here's a couple more pic's, can you tell I'm proud of my girl?:)

Is that your performance attire?
Gotta have a "look" and that would do nicely. Great shot for your first CD cover.

:2banjo: Keep on pickin'
Brad

ps. Looks like your daughter is a finger-picker,too. Does she do any classical?

Not that we didn't think about it...but no way...when we aint at work, that's the LAST thing we want to wear:shock:

Here's our CD cover (yeah, like we're ever gonna have a CD:cool:)

YES! My baby girl is all classical. She attends Duke Ellingston school of the arts in DC with oboe as her main instrument. She also plays flute, piano, and sax. This year she is also starting english horn. One of her ambitions is to play in a symphony professionally, and has already tried out for a couple. At the age of 17, she didn't make it, but was told she's got the talent, just needs some seasoning. I taught her a classical guitar piece called Romanza. She picked it up and was playing it better than I could ever dream to play it... in one sitting. It took me weeks to learn it. Here's a picture taken (last year) the first time she ever picked up a guitar...picken out melodys with her thumb.

Hi 1four5, Mark just put up some good pix on The Grymoire page. My first ever attempt on a uke and a lovely one of Christine with her Hurdy Gurdy, which we hope to have some music from on ezfolk soon.
