Thank you for inquiring about Peach Bottom Farm Fiddle & Strings Camp. JUNE 5 - 8 2008 The cost for the camp is $375.00 which includes 3 healthy!! meals per day, snacks and beverages. If you have any special diet concerns please be sure to let us know, we aim to please! There is a discount for kids under 12. There are a variety of places to stay, from shared local housing, B&B's, a local hotel and nearby RV camping, depending on your budget.All are with in 10 minutes or less of the farm. We provide only tent camping on the farm. Peach Bottom Farm F&S Camp, because it is small... BY CHOICE,... specializes in catering to individual needs, via outstanding instructors AND instruction. Our schedule includes an "initial meet & greet" JAM at the Historic Independence Court House on Wednesday evening along with other locals from the area. It is a great way to hear some of the local music as well as meet the teachers and other campers. Classes will start on Thursday morning at 9.00am. We are not just for Fiddle. We offer Guitar (rhythm or finger style) Mandolin, Banjo (claw hammer, Irish tenor, or Bluegrass), as well as dance. After all the registrations are in the instructors evaluate and make "recommendations", but you are free to go where you want. You get to choose your 'flavor'of music. The instruction includes theory, technique, improvisation, note reading, good practice habits, improving tone and intonation as well as new repertoire.
