I'm proud to announce the new owner of ezFolk is none other than our own Tony Provencher!

Tony's got what it takes to keep the ezFolk vision alive and will do a great job with it. I'll be hanging around as a consultant of sorts so even though I no longer own the site, I'm still available for kickin' around!

Let's hear it for Tony!

:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

Oh that is just marvelous!!!! Tony, you are good at keeping secrets! And so are you Richard.

Richard, I am thrilled to think that with Tony at the helm, your vision for what ezFolk is and can become will continue.

Fantastic!

Hey, that's great! For Richard and the rest of us - I'll let Tony make the decision if it is for him after he's owned it a while (insert BIG Snoopy Grin and wink here).

Welcome, Tony, let me know if you dislike my method of moderating.

Thanks, Amy.  Although I've had thoughts of stepping in for awhile, it wasn't until this weekend that Richard and I got together and hammered something out, so I wasn't keeping any secrets

You know I love ezFolk just the way Richard has developed it, and wouldn't want to change its character at all.

As I've said before, we all owe Richard a huge debt of gratitude, and I only hope that I can maintain this site, and all the hard work Richard has done.

Richard has promised to stay on and break me in to the running of all the various aspects of the site, so there should be a smooth continuum.

It's not without a great deal of trepidation that I embark upon this journey.  I have never done anything on line of anywhere near this magnitude.  I'm hoping that I can count on you and other knowledgeable ezFolkers to help me steer a straight, safe, and productive course.

I expect I should learn to play the ukulele.

Brad, one of the first things I want to do, as the new owner of ezFolk, is ask you to stay on as Forum Moderator.  Would you?

Thanks

Congratulations Tony!  Do we need call you Mr. Provencher now and do you awake as early as Richard?  I always enjoyed those early morning with a cuppa email exchanges I'd have with Richard from time to time.  All the best and you can count on me for a hand if the need arises.

Hey Richard,

I'm glad you'll be sticking around.

Peace,
Ed

Congratulations and deepest thanks to all concerned. There couldn't be better news than to know that one of our own is stepping in and that Richard is not stepping out.

Now the Banjo Brad thing I'll have to think about. ;) :talk:

This is very good news!  My congratulations Tony!

I want to express gratitude too to everyone who's helped me along this path.  I've got a long way to go, but that's a good thing, because it's the right path!

Best wishes, sisters and brothers!
