Someone sent me a private note today and asked about "mana." I noticed that it's not mentioned in the help section so here's an explanation from the WowBB (that's the board we're using) website...

WowBB uses an advanced iterative algorithm to determine the most respected users. A user "adds mana" to other users she respects, and the more mana she has, the more the increase in recipients' manas. A user can also change her mind, and remove mana from someone to whom she added mana before.

Examples:

:handsout:  (mana for you)

:hammer:    (no mana for you)  :box1:

Mana is a Maori word, meaning that the person to whom it relates has great respect bestowed upon them by others, so that an individual with 'great mana' is revered enormously.
