Hi there!

My name is Paco B. and I'm writting you from Spain

I've been thinking during the last months about learning to play the banjo attracted by the oportunity to develop it's sound in our local folk music!. Not really easy to find out information and banjo players in here indeed, so I'm really happy to join this forum and hope to learn lots of things from you

Actually I'm a bass player since five years ago and the electric and spanish guitar from ten years aproximately, so I guess this may help me in this new adventure.

Till now, I've learn there are some different banjo strings (four, five, six strings and even eight strings) but I've decided to beging with a standard five strings (tune in G) :D, and I'm thinking to buy one around 200 euros (almost 300$) to get something decent, but not sure about which manufacturer could be the finest option for a begginer like me

Any advise will be really appreciated!

Many thanks and hope to find out any other spaniard in this site ;)
