I am a raw rookie wanna be banjo picker..I just picked up a nice Morgan Monroe Matterhorn. I am looking for a teacher and think I have found a couple I like
Lynwood Lunsford out of Draper NC, and Dean Smith that teaches in Collinsville va.
Here is a shot of my mess

Anybody got any suggestions for a rookie...I'm all ears.:D

Well, I have me a teacher... Lynwood Lunsford. Man is he good.
I have now learned Cumberland Gap for my first song. I am struggling , but Lynwood is good at keeping your spirits up.
4 lessons and I can play a tune... GREAT!!!
