Hi, I'm Jim Yates, a Canadian musician/music teacher who plays mostly acoustic music on guitar, clawhammer banjo, autoharp, mandolin, vocals and mouth harp.  I play a lot with Al Kirby - banjo,Dobro, guitar, vocals and Zeke Mazurek - fiddle, mandolin, guitar and vocals as the North Shore Ramblers, but also play in other combinations of musicians.  The North Shore Ramblers play old time music, bluegrass, swing tunes Irish, Canadian, American...fiddle tunes...   We call it eclectic acoustic music.

Hey, Jim!

Glad to see you here. Always can use another clawhammerer to keep things moving some.

(You ezFolkies, if you want to hear some good music, check out Jim's site.)
