Hi to all! I'm 49 Years old, and when I was young I was studying Double Bass. Yes, the Huge Thing, the Goliath, the Bull Fiddle. I wasn't very good, and I gave it back to my teacher (sold it, really) after four years. Then I fell in love with Tenor Guitar (GDAE Tuning), Anglo-German Concertina and Ukulele. My first Uke (20 Years ago) was a toy, basically, and after a year I lost it somewhere. Seven Years ago I was given another, this time a real one, and I never stopped playing since then. My Concert Mahalo and me, a real "Duo". I still play Concertina and T-Guitar, every now and then, but the Uke  is always with me. My wife and my friends here in Northern Ireland are very patient. (Just kidding).

Keep on Strumming! All the Best!

Welcome. Always good to have more Irish on the board. People on my father's side of the family came over from Ireland, Edward Freels was from Co. Donegal, Ulster and came over in the 1750 to the U.S. , I'd love to take a trip to Ireland someday just to see where my roots came from. My mother's side of the family is Czech so between that the the Irish I pretty much think of beer as "mother's milk", LOL. I went from guitar to electric bass to mandolin and I LOVE that little thing, real handy to carry around. Anyway, if you can post a few pics of the Irish country side, I'd love to see em'. Talk to ya' later. ;)
