Some people may already be aware that Patrick Costello declared himself as an "Open Source Folk Music Resource" this year, meaning that he will travel anywhere in the world for instructional purposes for absolutly no charge (he only expects his Bed, Food & Travel to be covered). Well, Patrick embarked on a trip to Europe a couple of weeks back and has visited Norway, Germany and England. During that time he has held several workshops and jam sessions and having personally attended the Horsmondon Workshop in the UK I can honestly say I was blown away by Patrick's dedication to, and enthusiasm for Folk Music (both playing and sharing). He was an absolutle pleasure to meet and all that attended I am sure will speak of their appreciation for what he shared with us.

I just wanted to point out that if anyone is struggling to find an instructor or just wants someone to get them started you could drop Patrick an email and see if he will schedule in a visit - for the price of a train ticket, a bed and hot meal you could do a lot worse.
Thanks,
Mark
