I've doweled and redrilled a couple ukes.  Finding things like bushing might be hard.

I bought an old electric bass that had one missing bushing and I may have to replace the whole set of tuners.   I shouldn't because it's a ratty cheap bass, but I've got this funny notion that I'm going to hotrod it.  In fact I bought a set of hand wound humbuckers for it.  I'm sure the new tuners and pickups are worth more than the rest of the bass, not to mention the new wiring, pots, capaciters, knobs and bridge, pickguard and paint job....
