Hi,

I have a 1908 Whyte Laydie #2 (Fairbanks) and want to put geared tuners on it without modifying the peghead, so I may keep the old friction tuners, and reuse them if possible (if I decide to sell someday). I have heard of Golden Gate P-146, but they are about twice as expensive as the P-140 (3/8") pegs of the same design. These are made by Saga. Does anyone have experience with this topic? I would like some other ideas before I commit to anything. Thans.

Joe
