I can highly recommend the work of Bil Mitchell and Sarah Dieterichs of The Guitar Parlor. I recently had some fret work done, first five frets replaced (I'm such a first position player) and all frets dressed and crowned, on my Martin D-35 by Sarah. Sarah is a Martin authorized luthier just as a point of information. When she got into the work it was necessary to replace the nut and and bridge as well. All this work was completed with-in 12 days, such being my needed time frame, and done so in such a fine manner that my beloved guitar now plays easier and sounds better then it did before Sarah worked her magic. The cost for all this was so reasonable that even a broke folk musician such as myself could afford to have it done.

Now as if this wasn't enough of a reason to recommend the these fine folks, they also make you feel as if you've been a valued friend of their's since the beginning of time each and every time you visit. Then of course is the added bonus of having the opportunity to play one of the brilliant guitars that Bil builds whilst visiting.  Bil has been commissioned to build Bucks County Folk Music Shop's 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Guitar. I had the privilege and honor of playing one of these fine instruments on a recent visit to Karl's shop. It is as brilliant as one would expect from these icons of the folk music scene.

I say that if you are anywhere with-in a days drive to Riegelsville, PA and need work done on your guitar make the trip to The Guitar Parlor. Their web site is: http://www.bilmitchell.com/

Peace,
Ed
