hi, I´m a brazilian player, and a have a erhu, but I don´t know the scale...

Could you please tell me the erhu´s scale?

I play violin, sax and piano, and somebody said to me the erhu´s scale and the violin´s scale are similar. Is this true????

please, help me!

Erhu can play in any key. Lowest note is 'D' (above the middle 'C' on the piano)

The erhu strings are tuned the same as the middle two strings on a violin. On the violin, you can use the G string to go below the range of an erhu. For higher notes, you use the E string on a violin or move farther up the A string on the erhu. As my teacher put it, "The violin goes wide, the erhu goes long."

hmm?   I guess I thought  violin was tuned G D A E   G being the lowest and E the highest

You are right, of course. From lowest to highest, the violin strings are G-D-A-E. I was typing faster than I was thinking (which isn't hard to do these days). Thanks for catching that. I have edited my other post accordingly.
