Hello Zhen You Mei,

I already answered this in the other thread "Any Erhu players?" where you posted the same question.

Best wishes,

David

Your bow hand is very important when you first start, your bow is your engine so work on it back and forth evenly from back to front keep it level and close to the sound box.
Now when your practicing that feel the bow and the string learn the pressure hard soft listen to the sound and tone learn to control it.
and it doesn't hurt to do some simple scales but later learn your bow first.

God Bless

Go to Pike Place Market and talk to Fred. I don't know his Chinese name, he just calls himself Fred. You'll know him because he's the only erhu player there.
