Etched on my erhu are these characters
中國蘇州
龍舞天地鳳伴行

Anyone know what they mean? Something about dancing dragons in China...

First line says 'China, Suzhou' (Suzhou is a province in China)

Second line says 'Dragons dancing in the sky and ground accompanied by Phoenixes.

How's it going James?

Thanks!
Sung Wah

That's beautiful. Thanks for translating.
It's been going great. My first foray into string instruments.
I've put away my other 'toys' (harmonicas, ocarina, flutes) so I can concentrate on the erhu.
I am loving it.
Thanks!

smithchau-

I would suspect that he was able to find the characters in a computer font and post them.

I used handwriting recognition to type the characters. I just guessed the stroke order from the appearance of the radicals on my erhu.
