Hey Jordan,

I agree that the community centres are difficult, I was looking for one too, found one at way off from where i stay.

Have you managed to find one already?

Dear Jordan

If you are looking for a pro erhu teacher. I know of one staying in Pasir Ris -  my friend is learning under him. He is from the Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO). If you want him, I can get the contact number from my friend ,and another who teaches in Nanyang Academy of Fine arts. He is also the chairman of Erhu society. He is staying in Bedok Reservoir, very near Tampines area.  You can contact me . Otherwise, if you don't mind other instructors from other areas, I have some contacts also.

It is not difficulty to find erhu teacher in s'pore.  In fact some community centres have some proper erhu instructors also.

Hi Jordan

In fact, I don't know the instructors, because I'm in the chinese orchestra group, some of my friends are learning with them.  If you are interested , just let me know , I will give you their contact numbers. You can contact them direct and check with them.  Otherwise, you can check with Sung Wah  from eason, I believe he should have some instructors teaching in his shop.

Hi Jeen,

Sorry was busy the past few days. I agree about community centres have good teachers but the centres they teach are quite far from me. Do you know of any teachers that give lessons near Queenstown?

Thanks,

SoNicJ78

Dear Jeen,
I saw your reply to Jordan and am wondering if I can have the contacts of the erhu teachers you mentioned.
I used to learn erhu (eons ago) under Huang Gui Ying at Eunos, then I left for Australia and had to stop my lessons.  I'll be coming home soon and wish to contiunue learning.  It would be great if I can get a few contacts (preferably someone who's patient ;)) from you.
Thanks heaps!!
cheers,
animaniac
