Hail All, In the sixth bar of the 'Shady Grove' tab on this site what's the story with playing the first 2 notes? Drop thumbing? Thanks, Harry.

That's right... play the first note with your middle finger on the 1st string, then the second note with your thumb on the 2nd string, then the third note is played with the middle finger, this time on the 3rd string.

But then there's the sneaky avoidance behavior method. Play the first note of that measure as 2nd fret on 2nd string and pull-off for the 2nd note.
