Christine Donovan is a singer/songwriter, a musician, and a passionate Performer.  Her sound is  frequently compared to being a cross between Janis Joplin, Bob Dylan, and Lucinda Williams.

For the last few years she has been working on developing her "sound," becoming proficient in accompanying  herself solo on guitar, piano, and harmonica.

Christine lives in Napanee, Ontario, just 35 kilometres outside Kingston, a town famous for its celebrity,  Avril Lavigne.

Chris has always passionately enjoyed writing poetry, stories, and songs from her earliest years, and has been encouraged  by friends and family. She wrote, recorded, and produced two separate independent CDs and a three-song demo.

Her first independently recorded CD, "Rain Down on Me," was recorded at Pinnacle studio in Belleville, and the most recent one, "Lucky Me," at Longshot Studios in Kingston. She also put together a three-song demo of original tunes at Tiki Towne Studios in the San Francisco area in Marin county,California.

With her eye on the future, Christine is planning to record an acoustic-based CD of her totally new songs in the near future.
