 Jacqui Callis Jacqui's musical history has included periods with post-punk bands Delta 5 and the Mekons before joining and then fronting, the increasingly alt.country version of Cut Loose in London in the early to mid 80’s. After a brief period singing with 11-piece UK ska band The Deltones, she left to form The Rivals described by City Limits as "the most exciting country band to hit London”. Other bands include Devils in Disguise ("the best British acoustic trio in years” Music Week), The Renees, Idlewild, Folk City Sisters and The Callis Family - which still continues today playing a mix of bluegrass, old-time, country and her own songs.
