 Little Green This week's featured artist is a great-sounding group from Sweden. Little Green started out as a duo by Thomas Ponten and Andreas Johannesson sometime in late 2004, at first in more of a singer/songwriter style but they gradually transformed into a country/bluegrass act. Soon they felt the duo format to be a bit limiting and they extended the duo to a quartet. The group gets their own sound through their wide range of influences and a fair amount of disrespect for tradition. They have had some gigs around Gothenburg and in Stockholm. In september 2006 they participated in Country-SM in Salen. Little Green is currently finalizing an album, which they play to release in May.

I'm listening to a song called a heartbeat less at the moment - what a beauty. Haven't been able to come onto ezfolk for a while cos of problems with my internet provider (Orange- don't touch them with a bargepole!!) but this kind of makes the wait worthwhile. Great stuff.
