New toy.  4 channel recorder with 34 Virtual tracks.  Runs with a SD card and has Line/Mic in (stereo), guitar plug in, built in mic.

Smaller than a wallet.  Carry it in your pocket for that time when a tune/lyric pops in your head.

How many times, out away from a recorder,  have you had a new song appear, only to forget the tune, or chord pattern.  You write down the lyrics and/or chord pattern on any scrap handy.  Run through it a time or two, and 20 minutes later can't remember what the hell it was.  Even with the chord chart to help.

This little puppy is great.  Record a multi-track mix or just a rough run-through on the spot.

Guitar Center http://www.guitarcenter.com  special this month $239.95

Beats the hell out of a "voice" digital pocket recorder.

Effects, rythm, delay to slow down WAV or MP3 for study.  I love it.
