I recently got my first banjo, a no-name 4 string tenor banjo.  I've strung it as an Irish Tenor, as I play mandolin, octave mandolin and cittern.  I'm loving it!  I have not been able to identify the maker, but I haven't taken the resonator off, so I don't know if there is any identifying marks under there.  The headstock has a decal at the top, that is kinda 'hologram' looking, in a symbol that kinda looks like two orbiting rings.  I'm going to try to include a photo.  If anyone knows who the maker is, I'd love to hear from you!

why bother? If it's a generic Asian one they are knocked out by the lorry-load and the brand name is a lottery anyway...
