Hey Mark,
Seems like the co-op idea did pretty well at first, with maybe 10 people or so recording a song, then it seemed to get a little less popular each time we tried it, possibly because it's hard to pick a song that everybody can agree on. Also, back when we first tried it there were several people on ezFolk (such as Dean/1four5) who were looking for new things to record and were ready to jump in and record just about anything mentioned. That seemed to rub off on some other people as well, which was nice, but I don't think there's as much excitement in that regard now.
I recorded some of the early co-op songs myself but haven't done anything (co-op or otherwise) in a while because I don't have time, but I'm happy to have others do it if you muster up some supporters of the cause.
