Put on your thinking caps. I'm working on a piece in a five-tone scale. The basic guitar part is down and nets out at a little over two minutes (so far). I'll be posting it in the next day or so. Just wanted to give you a chance to think ahead modally.

It is in A-modal. So banjo's can capo up, fiddles and mandolins won't have to get nervous.

I keep trying to download the co-op songs, but they show up in my download folder as m3u files. I can play them through any number of applications on my Mac as long as I'm connected to the net, but I have no way to modify the files on or offline.

Any suggestions?

Son of a gun...that's the same problem I had trying to download something from Amy. I don't know how she fixed it. I'll ask.

---

Added a few minutes later: I went back to my space. When I hit the downlod button (the third one) it downloads as an MP3. Do you want me to send the file to you separately?

Sure... skyfire@humboldt1.com

And then I'll figure out how to repost it with an added track.

Mike-

When a song is posted in the forums, it is normally linked to a hifi or lofi streamable file. In order to download one of the tunes on ezFolk, you need to go to the site of the artist, find the tune you want, and select the download button for that tune, either hifi or lofi if the artist allows the tune to be downloadable.

(When uploading a new tune, you have the option of making the tune stream only or stream and downloadable for both the hifi and lofi versions. You do not need to make them the same.)

When I upload a tune, I make the Hifi version streamable only, but usually make the Lofi version streamable and downloadable. This is because I offer custom CDs of my tunes on my store page. There you can pick up to 20 of my tunes and receive a CD of them along with any notes and tabs that I have compiled for each tune.

With the new skins, it seems that the old method of providing links to the download buttons is no longer an option.

Hope this helps.

Brad
