Like vrteach, it's been awhile since I've posted in the "promote music" forum as well. I've been at the woodshed trying to learn how to pattern pick and get the most out of my acoustic. I'm hoping some of the skills translate over to ukulele.

This is my newest, called "Henrietta James." The idea is that it's a breakdown where each verse is a new suitor coming to woo the Henrietta James.

I finished this one last week. I have been looking for a song that states my religious belief (or lack of them) without offending everyone in the world. I'm not mad at religion. In fact, in many ways, I'm a religious person, and I do enjoy going to church. This one is called "Atheist's Lament" for lack of a better title:

This one is older (few months), but I keep posting new versions as my fingerpicking gets better. I still need to post a newer version. This one, "Spare a Drop" is about how when we try to do good, sometimes we're doing bad to someone waiting behind us. Everything's a tradeoff, I guess:

Anyway, I hope they're enjoyed. I've sure been having fun with learning a new (for me) style of playing.

Hey thanks, Danny.

Yeah, the emoticon song seems to get more and more true.

I found a picture of Henrietta James, by the way:
