Very nice Holley! I enjoyed it and it streamed okay without me having to download it. I hope more people will start posting videos of all kinds, so this thread is a good idea.

:clap3:

Holly, that video is FANTASTIC!

Count me in on your video swap.  I only have slideshows, but they're fun too.

Bravo Holley!  What did you use to film and edit the footage?  I am interested in doing a video, but all I have is the ability to film small mpeg files via my digital camera.

Holley -
Very nice job! I enjoyed watching it. Your music is lovely and the video - really great. That's something that I'd like to think about doing in the future. I've done a few slide shows for family and friends, but nothing to show to the world.

Thanks for sharing it with us!
Amy

Hi Mike & Amy,

I have a Olympus digital camera  that does silent video clips. When I down load it I import  it into Windows Media Player and Convert the .mov file into a .mpeg so I can bring it into "windows movie maker" in a file type it will recognize and edit and/or combine with other videos.  You can also edit the clip and add on a MP3 file etc with editing options.  For a freebie with XP home edition and Pro its not to shabby.. and a good starter program..

You should be able to download your videos with the XP Drivers. When your connected to the computer USB usually pops up a menu asking you where to save the data.  If you have a slightly older camera, go to CNET.com "Downloads" to get an updated driver for XP. Check it out! Let me know if  I can help?

 Holley :)

Hi holley. That's a nice way of making a music video.

Meanwhile I'll keep the idea going with our attempt at Galway Bay from last weekend. Its an 8.9Mb WMV file.

Watch

Download

This was pretty much Mark's first attempt at slide guitar. I brought it round to his place, and we thought we'd see how it sounded.

I've listened to James Connolly's great version of the song a few times, and couldn't resist the "Oh yeah babe" at the end.

Cheers Hip.

Holly,

Very nice.  I get a great sense of place from this.  Where do you live?  I want to move there!.  Cute kid, handsome dogs. Love the rainy day shots of the hiway.  Nice music also.

Thanks

Hippie,

I really enjoyed this.  The slide guitar was great.  I have enjoyed all of your videos.  It's so much fun to watch performers as well as hear them.  Just watching you fellas makes me wish I could join you all for a jam.  I love your version of this song.  I also enjoy seeing how you hold the uke.on your lap.  That's a new one for me.

Thanks

Preston

Very nice Holley... but we're still waiting for one that features you in the foreground playing the guitar! I like the text and transitions on your new video software. What are you using? I haven't been happy with how the sound gets mangled on my video software and have been thinking about trying some that I haven't tried.
