Just what everyone wants to see...my fat ass playing guitars and ukuleles. The backdrop is cool at least. These were "filmed"--as in digitaped--at the local open mic in Claremont, CA. They prove that I am far from professional, and they prove that I think that I am funny. I told my daughter Danielle that if you laugh at your own jokes, that proves that you are really funny because you've heard the joke before.

At the wise age of 8, she says, "No, Dad, actually it's really easy to laugh at yourself."

I guess I don't have to worry about the development of her sense of irony.

Great videos Uke - good to see you in action. Very good sound quality on them - somebody in there knows what they are doing. Liked the little intros - take it they are part of the video package?

Those were great, John. I was impressed on a number of levels - your poise and charisma (no joking!) as an entertainer, your performances, and, always highest on the list for me, the songs themselves. Very creative writing - entertaining and thought-provoking at the same time. NOT easy to do....

John, I enjoyed the videos a lot. I wish that more performers could post videos as I like to watch them play and well as hear them..I learn a lot from watching musicians perform.

I really liked"You Are Better Than A Test". As a high school teacher with 34 years experience, and having to see our kids jump through more hoops yearly, I appreciate the sentiment. (I also believe that we will start to see a lot of our most talented kids miss some hoops, and drop out of the competition in frustration .) Keep up the good work..I like how you use music and humor to make your points.
