Those of you with adopted kids know how important it is to preserve their culture.

I wrote a ukulele song to help my kids with just that:

Where My Adopted Kids' Are From

play hi-bitrate  (mp3 - broadband)
play lo-bitrate  (mp3 - dial-up)
download hi-bitrate  (2.57 MB)
download lo-bitrate  (395.73 KB)
view song lyrics

The kiddos insist it's not accurate, but I'm sure many parents can relate. ALL kids are from a different "country".

Another winner UF! I'm feeling inspired to start writing again. It's been a while since I put pen to paper but your songs are so much fun it makes me want to join in.  Having an 11 year old daughter in the house I can truly relate! Thanks for another great offering!

Pete

Yeah - a fun song with great lyrics. I can relate as my wife's brother recently adopted two children from Kahzikstan, and they're awesome. Aside from that, with kids of my own as well, I know that all of them are off in their own worlds from time to time, no matter if they're home grown or not...

Cool tune.

Cheers,
JJ
