The last three songs I have posted, the spacing of the lyrics is more than double spaced and spreads the info out too far to read.  I am using MS Word with single spacing in my original, but when it is posted the line spacing increases.

Are you saving the file as a plain-text file before posting it,  or are you using the formatted (in Word)?

Also, I have noticed that the input in these areas tends to have HTML formatting automatically added, especially extra lines between paragraphs, which seem to be taken as a normal line-feed (enter). I had to play around with a blog entry for 10 minutes last night to get the extra returns out of the post.

Hi, Verne,

MS word files are full of html garbage that can wreak havoc when pasted into WYSIWYG editors.  It's best to either enter your lyrics directly, or, if you're more comfortable writing them first and then copy-pasting them, write them first in Notepad, which does not insert formatting.  If your lyrics are already in MS Word, copy and paste them into Notepad.   This will remove the MS Word formatting.  Then copy them from Notepad to paste them into the ezFolk lyrics editor.

The new editor is, indeed, full of bugs, as Reggie pointed out in an earlier post, but I think the steps I have suggested will solve your problem, or at least improve things a bit.

Hope this helps.
