If I log in and try to get to my "Home" page this it what I get.  I get the same thing if I just go to the website as a normal visitor without signing in.

I hope it's not an on-going thing.

Dusty,

I clicked on "Rebuild Your Site" in the control panel and that seems to have fixed it. I don't think it's a widespread problem (or ongoing) but let me know if you're still having problems with it.

Thanks, Richard.  The change in format and terminology did not offer "Rebuild your site" as the old one did.

After you posted, I finally found "Rebuild your PROFILE" in the dropdowns. As PROFILE is not the same as SITE, I did not want to try that the first time around.

Sorry about bothering you... Again.

Not exactly the same problem, but

Last night I finished uploading a bunch of new songs on the TOTMC page. No Problems.

Today, if I log in to either the TOTMC page or my Banjo Brad  page, the page is there, but when I go to the control panel, all I get is a black screen with all the menus. I can't do anything with the pages, because none of the options will work (add/delete/change blogs/songs/ etc.

Brad

I'm having the same problem as Brad.  Control Panel does not work.  Can't fix it by rebuilding 'Profile' because nothing works in Control Panel.  any attempt yields a blank work screen.

Brad,

I updated the script yesterday and that was probably the beginning of your problem. This morning I uploaded the latest test release that is supposed to fix a bug that involved some missing graphics in Sage, so maybe that'll fix it. If not, let me know.

I've just heard of this problem from you and Tony P., and I know both of you are using the classic control panel so I think that's probably where the problem is. If you're still not able to see your control panel, let me know and I think I can go in and switch your profile so the the Flashback control panel will show up, then later on when it's fixed you can switch back if you want to.

Thanks, Richard,

It's still no go for me - just blank work page.  Can't get to my Control Panel Profile Page to switch control panel skins either.  Hope you have better luck...

Same as Tony, Richard. Can't work with control panel in either of my sites.

When you get a changce, please change both to the "new" panel until you can get the bugs worked out.

And it isn't the theme, since I have a different theme for each page (sage for BB and the supposedly "best" one for the TOTMC).

Thanks for everything,

Brad

Yup, same for me. Using classic control page and except for the left side and top menus, it's blank and I can't add anything nor can I change to the newer format from account info.

I'll keep checking!

Thanks!

Robin

Hey Robin,

I just changed you over to the new control panel so it should work now.

I've discontinued the option to choose the classic control panel now because it was causing so many problems. Unfortunately, anybody who chose to use the classic control panel and didn't get switched over is stuck with a blank screen now. I don't have any way of knowing who is still in the classic control panel, so if anybody reads this, either post here or email me at richard@hefner.com and let me know so I can switch you to the new control panel.

Richard,
From my ezfolk page, I went to control panel to view my profile and it says I'm Jem Fleming. Hmm.

Whoa Robin... I'm not quite sure what happened but I think something in the database got mixed up. I think it's straightened out now but please be sure to let me know if it's not.

Bless you for your patience Richard.  We really are a nagging bunch, especially as you do this for us at infinite labor and no cost to us.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.:clap:

And forgive us our trespasses.

Dusty

Haha... I'm not really all that patient and you folks aren't that nagging either. I always want to know when things aren't working right. Not that I can get everything fixed right away. I don't think of it as complaints or nagging, but people helping me out in knowing what needs to be fixed.

:thumbs1:

Alas, I'm on the new control panel and now when I try to do a blog entry things like the "insert link" don't work for me. I get the popup, but it's blank.

Hi, Hobbit,

There are a number of features in the blog editor, as well as the song lyric and info editors that don't work right, among them, as Reggie pointed out some time ago, the text-size and text-font controls.  If you know some basic html, as I seem to recall you do, you can enter links and text styles by using the html source editor.  (Click the little blue 'HTML' at top left of editor control panel.)

Hope this helps.

Since all of those extras don't seem to be working anyway I disabled the WYSIWYG editor and re-enabled the basic editor that allows BBCode and limited HTML.

It seems to work fine on my end but you guys let me know how it is for you.

Hi, Richard,

I don't mean to make a nuisance of myself, but I was using HTML tables to improve the display of my song lyrics, and the new editor does not allow that.

If you decide that this editor is the lesser of two evils, I can live with it, but I just thought I'd give you food for reconsidering.

Thank you,
