Just signed up today. Great site! My question is how do I delete a store item. I put up one of my songs and then saw a typo in the title of it. I tried clicking "hide this item" in modify songs, but it doesn't work. I deleted the song from the vault and it is still there. Can anyone help me? Hi ASC, Thanks for joining us! I was going to delete it for you and still will if you need help, but I thought you might like to do it yourself so you can see what's going on. There are two different ways to sell things: the "Vault" and the "Store." A VAULT item can either be linked to an existing MP3 by adding the info under "Modify Song" (or when you create the song) or you can just add a vault item by itself that doesn't have a streaming MP3 associated with it. The latter is best for videos, tablatures, or other files that are not music files. Vault items are digital and the ezFolk system handles the sales automatically. A STORE item is a tangible item that you are selling directly such as a CD, book, or whatever. The customer purchases the item through your PayPal account, you receive the payment, and you send out the product directly yourself. The song you want to delete is not in the vault because it's set up as a store item. All you need to do to delete it is look under the STORE menu in your control panel and click on "Delete Item" and you'll see the two store items listed. Just choose the item and delete it. With the other one being offered in the store, that would be an item you want to physically mail out yourself. If your intention is to sell digital downloads, just delete that other store item as well and choose "Modify Song" if you want to offer a download of a song for sale, and add the info to the bottom of that page. You'll need to upload a separate MP3 for that one as well since it can be a different file than the streaming MP3. For instance, you might want to have a lower bitrate (128 kbps for example) for the streaming MP3, and a higher bitrate (256 or whatever) for the purchased download. Hope that makes sense!
