Hi Richard,

I was wondering about the new media players.  2 songs in my list, "There Has To Be Way" and "Wrong Time" play really fast.  This isn't true for these songs if they are played in my mp3 player, only when a media player is hosted by the site.  Should I delete these songs?

John,

That's a widespread problem with the flash player and virtually all of the LoFi files on the site. I think a fix for this might be close at hand.

If you want to delete them that would be fine. Could be that they will all need to be regenerated by each individual artist since there are so many I wouldn't be able to get to them all.

What you might want to do instead of deleting them is just take away the streaming option for the LoFi files and just allow people to download the LoFi files if they want to. They'll work fine that way, then when the fix comes you could regenerate them and return the streaming option.

I've had strange results with a couple of my recent uploads (not all for some reason) and what I did is go back into my mp3 converter and make my own lofi version, delete the one online and upload my own.

Since it started happening I've just started making three versions of my mp3s from my mixdown... a really hi rate one (192kbps), an "average" hi rate (128kbps) and a lofi (32kbps).

I upload the 128 and the 32kbps ones and I'm saving the 192kbps for when I start selling downloads.

That latter will start happening soon, I hope.
