I see there's a feature to create a sales promo code - I was just wondering how this works. Would it okay to publicly advertise this code via a mailing list for example? Dan

Hi Dan, Absolutely... that's what it's for, so if you've got a mailing list or anywhere else you want to post your promo code and point people to your vault to make a purchase, that's fine. This is a new feature that was just added this week, and I saw in my admin panel that you had already set up a promo code. You can also post it right in your blog so people coming through can make a purchase (put it in there and I'll buy something just to be sure it works correctly). It's up to you how you'd like to use it though.

Dan, I was just testing your promo code and am coming up with some incorrect results, so if you don't mind, remove the code so nobody tries purchasing by using it. I'm putting in a tech support request in just a minute and hopefully we can get it straightened out this weekend. I'll be sure to let you know when it's fixed. Thanks, Richard

Dan, The promo code is fixed now so feel free to post the code you generated anywhere you like. If anybody is interested in running a sale on your digital items, it's easy to set up a promo code so you can give your customers a discount, and you're able to set your own terms. Setting it up is easy and self-explanatory, and you can set it up by clicking on "promo codes" under the "Extras" menu in your control panel.
