In IE I have successfully deleted the song I had uploaded.  No problem.

I then went in and successfully modified the song 'If the River Could Speak', which you had modified.

I then successfully modified the poem, 'Marguerite', which I had previously been unable to modify, followed by 'Marguerite (in English)', which I had not previously tried to modify.

I then attempted to modify 'Promise Me Nothing', which I had previously tried to modify.  Once again I got the "page cannot be found" message.  I cleared my history and tried again with no success.

I can't log in with Firefox, keep getting thrown to somebody else's home page... a different one each time.

In Safari I can log in and I can get to the Contril Panel, but no matter what I try (Create Song, Create Blog Entry), Safari shuts down. I returned to EZ Folk, via the link on the email regarding this forum post, and discovered that I was still logged in.

Macintosh: 10.3.9
Safari: 1.3.2 (v312.6)
Firefox: Version 1.0

I can get to the Control Panel in Safari, and am able to view statistics and my page, was even able to create a look for my page, but every time I try to modify anything (blog, song, photo) Safari suts down.

Mike -

While it won't totally fix the problems here, I suggest that you upgrade Firefox to the latest version, 2.0.0.6.

Greetings Richard,

Did you carry over the registrations from the Beta test site? I tried to create an artist account for just me and it said that my artist name was taken.

I like the new site but couldn't tell you if the upload situation is fixed or not. Thank you as always for all your hard work and assistance.

Peace,
Ed

Hey Ed,

No, the registrations didn't get transferred from the beta. I checked and there was an artist account named "Ed Saultz" but other info in there didn't seem to be about you and it wasn't being used so I deleted it. You should be able to go back in now and sign up normally and use your name. Let me know if there's a problem.

Hi Richard!  I've noticed that my carefully crafted writings have morphed into one stodgy mass, bereft of drive and impact.  I'll try reformatting and posting.

Smiffy,

I've noticed that some of the formatting in blog messages, lyrics, etc., got messed up with the upgrade... seems like mostly line breaks disappeared. I noticed some of it still looks right though. Not sure what the deal is. Could have been just in messages that had special formatting that's not allowed now? Anyway, if you edit and reformat it that should fix it. Sorry for the problem.

I had to reformat one of my blog entries.  Beware!  The editor does not accept BBCode.  When you go to modify your entry, all previous BBCode commands will be turned into text.

The WYSIWYG editor is cantankerous.  In Firefox, when I used the carriage return key to indicate a line break the display showed the result I had wanted, but when I "successfully" modified my entry, the line breaks were all eliminated again.  I had to go into HTML to create the line breaks I wanted.

I still can't modify my song, 'Promise Me Nothing' in either IE or Firefox.  (See previous posts.)

Hey Richard,

Pardon the duplicity. The account has been established however I still can't upload a song.

Peace,
Ed

Tony,

I went in just now and disabled the WYSIWYG editor but kept the option for the BBCode. That should help I think.

Somebody had mentioned the MusicBlaster and not having it on their page. It hasn't been updated by them yet (might not be... I'm not sure) but I was able to paste the code in my blog just now...

http://ezfolk.com/audio/bands/2/

So anybody who wants to use the MusicBlaster should be able to add the code directly to a blog message. When I had the WYSIWYG editor on it wouldn't accept the code.

Hope that helps!

I'll ask here.

I have just added an artist account for the Music Circle I host, and have been unable to access the forum for it.

All I get is the page that says it is a private forum and I have to be a member or fan to access it. I am signed in as the site administrator, so I don't understand why I can't get to the forum.

Has anybody else tried to use the artist forum? If so, how did you get to it?

Brad

Hey Brad,

I just posted a message in that forum and it seems to be working fine. I was just signed in as a normal artist (not admin).

I'm not sure what the problem is. Are you positive you were signed in? Could be a browser issue too I guess.

Richard -

What I found out was that I was still logged in under my Banjo Brad info, I think. I logged out and logged back in with the TOTMC signin and password and found your entry. I will have to remember that I can't be logged in to both on different sessions of my browser and be able to use everything available.

I think.

I will do some more experimenting tomorrow when my brain is fresher. I will be transfering the Music Circle tunes to that page.

Brad
