I may be pulling the ad when I find out more info. But here's what I've researched last night...ALL NIGHT! The design was patented in 1925 as the patent number on it is 1550826.( I'm not saying it was made in 1925, but I think it's probably a 1925 or really close) It is 33" long and has an 11" dia skin. The neck is 15½"- or 21" overall from last fret to top. The back of the neck is skunk striped with I think Ivory centered inlay. It has 22 clover/shamrock sound holes. 19/20 frets, seven of which have (3) dice-like dots. The frets are made of I think Tortoise shell. The Grained ivory tuning keys are round, and sat 'Page Patent' on them. It has a waverly tail piece. It has 24 J-hook tuners around the double ivory inlay wood. The bottom or back has a total of (3) ivory inlays, one on the back and two on the sides. The neck is in terrific shape, worn a bit on the wood, but straight as an arrow. There is NO MAKERS MARK on this, inside or out. No serial numbers I could find..and I LOOKED HARD! It is in a very old I believe orginal hard case, brown skin like. Purple cloth inside, with a compartment. Three latches with one more locking latch under the working handle. It has small metal legs to rest the case on. The latches and lock say (Eagle Lock Co, Terryville, Conn) I have pictures but they will NOT upload, They can only be sent thru e-mail. Sorry. I really could use help to identify this banjo before selling it
