I JUST started blaying 5-string banjo, literally about a month ago. I have learned all the major chords, so I considder myslef lucky to be able to "explode" on the banjo(I previously played bass guitar in a punk band, and I wasn't good at all). Now that I have some chords under my belt, along with a passion to learn more, I was just wondering where I could find good tabs. ezfolk does not have tabs to any songs I know or like, as I am more interested in folk-rock, folk-punk, or folk-metal. Any help for a beginner?

I'm afraid I can't be of much help. All the music I play is pretty much pre-1926, but welcome to the WWB (Wonderful World of Banjo). You may be reduced to figuring out things for yourself. If you are playing mostly chords, just remember that a C chord is a C chord no matter what the instrument, so if you have a chord sheet of a song, you've got the chords. Then, learn the notes on the neck and you're on your way. Brad
