Hey, it's been good to know you.  We have until 4/30 on this topic, then it's done.  Feel free to email me or catch up on ukulelecosmos.com or fleamarketmusic.com.  Or not.  Richard has his challenges lately, and I wish him well in future endevors, so what the heck.  Make sure you all let him know what this site meant, and his hard work.

Edit: holy smokes, spam since I posted my email!  Geez, they have a tight grip.  contact me thru myspace or youtube in my sig.

Well this is really sad, I feel bad for Richard and everyone here, and I'm a noob, so I don't understand it either. Maybe because it's got so many areas, I started here with the baritone section and nothing much happens there, so I got a soprano.

What a shame about the spam. I just moved to a new place and the landlord repainted the garage for us, and two weeks later there was graffiti. I despise taggers and spammers, they just trash everything for decent people. If it was Saudi Arabia they'd have their fingers lopped when they were caught.

Yeah. it will be a loss. I run my own forum and know some of the challenges. I was severely hacked a couple of years ago, and it hurt. Best of luck, Richard, we will miss you is you have to close.

Don't write the obituary yet people, check out Richard's sticky: http://ezfolk.com/forums/forum6/7244.html

He's working on a solution that will keep at least the mp3 and the forums alive. Hang tight folks and keep positive.

A real shame. I've never received posts here via email, just read at the site. You get spammed?

Maybe it's the conficker virus? Seems to be just waking up, I hear.

One old Yahoo group I was in years ago is ALL spam now. Checked it recently, and no one's posted for years. Just porn spambots.

Richard has resisted having a subscription fee for the artist's pages, but I noticed that there is a donation button on the main page. Next Paypal money that comes my way, it's going here. I think if you use a site a lot it's fair to drop a few bucks in the hat once in aawhile to keep it going, and help pay for the time and expenses.
